Ekaterina Vasyagina’s Bird Charmers, which depicted sealions on rocks, took second place in the Reserved Russia category.

Nicolas Remy won third place in The Underwater World category for a photograph of a crested horn shark feeding on an egg.

Meanwhile, Babak Mehrafsahar won second place in the Magic of Plants category with a stunning photograph of trees in the desert.

The contest, now in its 15th year, received nearly 15,000 entries from 107 countries around the world.
