Russian Mother of 24 Welcomes Twenty-One Surrogate Babies in a Year, Balancing Millionaire Lifestyle with Hands-On Parenting
A young woman has assisted in bringing 22 children into the world and shows no signs of slowing down. Christina Ozturk gave birth naturally to her first born daughter at the age of 17. Fast forward a few years, and the 24-year-old Russian-born woman now has 21 more babies thanks to surrogacy. After meeting her husband, Galip, 57, on a holiday in Georgia, the couple quickly began building a large family.
Christina continued, “It costs about £3,500 to £4,200 per week for essentials for all the kids. Sometimes the costs are a little more, sometimes a bit less.”
The nannies are paid around £350 a week.
She added, “For now we have three floors at home. In the future, maybe we will build more floors, maybe we will buy a bigger house. We don’t have an exact plan, because right now we have enough space for everybody.”
Christina and Galip initially planned to have one baby each year, but realized their reproductive abilities couldn’t keep up with that and turned to surrogacy. When they found out how much easier it was than a regular pregnancy, they decided to see how many more they could have.
Christina said, “The clinic in Batumi chooses surrogate mothers for us and takes full responsibility for the process. We are not personally acquainted with surrogate mothers and do not have direct contacts with them in order to avoid problems after pregnancy.”
Her Instagram page suggests she might have more than 100 children if she can take care of them all.
