Rihanna Radiates Pride While Breastfeeding One-Year-Old Son, RZA
On Wednesday, August 9, Rihanna was seen brimming with pride as she shared an intimate moment of breastfeeding her one-year-old son, RZA.
The 35-year-old singer, who is currently expecting her second child with rapper A$AP Rocky, took to her Savage X Fenty Instagram account to showcase the brand’s new line of maternity wear.
In a heartwarming series of photos spanning two separate posts, Rihanna could be seen smiling from ear to ear while cradling her child on her lap. Demonstrating the functionality of one of the maternity bras from her collection, Rihanna sported her straight dark hair down and added a touch of pink lip color to complement her radiant appearance, all while seated on a silver chair.
Rihanna captioned one of the posts with, “Not your mama’s maternity bras… designed by @badgalriri, approved by baby RZA #SavageXMaternity.”
A multitude of the account’s 5 million followers promptly flooded the comments section with admiration for the pop superstar. One enthusiastic follower exclaimed, “Momma’s got that glowwww, it’s like she’s making me happy just by looking at her. Her energy in the photoooooo is stronggg.”
Another gushed, “You are achieving great things, MAMA. I watch everything you do with pride. You are leading the fashion game.”
A third comment added, “You are amazing in everything you do. My heart is also filled with joy seeing the beautiful family you have created.”
A fourth commenter playfully quipped, “I’m so glad I’m waiting to have children. By the time I’m pregnant, Rihanna will have designed all the accessories for me and my baby to be dope as hell.”
In a previous interview with Vogue earlier this year, Rihanna discussed her brand, stating, “It’s been beautiful to witness our vision for Savage X Fenty make such a tremendous impact on the industry over the past five years. This is just the beginning for us, and we’re going to continue expanding in ways that resonate with our consumers.”
After stepping down from her role as the company’s CEO, she also expressed gratitude for the appointment of the new CEO, Hillary Super, saying, “I’m so grateful and excited to welcome Hillary Super as our new CEO – she is a strong leader and is focused on taking the business to an even higher level.”
Rihanna announced her second pregnancy during her live Super Bowl LVII halftime show performance in February.
