Two 7-month-old twins have captured our hearts with the special bond they have developed between them. A video that has been circulating on the internet showcases the inseparable connection between the siblings as they sleep peacefully in each other’s arms. Attempting to separate them results in heart-wrenching cries.
Their mother, 27-year-old Brenna Grund, shared that her sons, Lane and Lennox, have spent only one night apart since birth, finding warmth and comfort in each other’s embrace. However, it’s worth noting that this practice is not recommended by the American Association of Pediatrics, which advises against bed-sharing between siblings.
In response to some criticism Brenna received on TikTok for allowing the twins to sleep together, she decided to demonstrate what happens when she tries to separate them.
“Every time I attempt to separate them, my heart shatters into a thousand pieces from their loud crying. They don’t settle down until I reunite them, and within two minutes, they fall asleep together,” she explained. The video she shared substantiated her statement, and her other posts depict her sons playing and laughing together while tied.
The mother, who has a total of four children, conveyed to her critics that she doesn’t believe in the “do not cry” method often advocated by older generations. She is determined not to separate the twins at bedtime until they grow accustomed to sleeping alone.
“It is very soothing for them to hug each other and hold hands. It’s something they’ve been used to since they were in my womb,” she said.
As for the bonds between her children, especially the twins, she emphasizes that they are very special and can only truly be understood by those who have twin siblings.
