A photographer captures the emotional moment of a young mother welcoming twins.
Photographer Hailey McNeal has shared the heartwarming moment she captured a young mother giving birth to two twins to the world. Taking to Facebook, Hailey shared a series of stunning photos she took as young mom Sarita gave birth to Amos and Noah, with her husband and her son Emerson there to support her.
“It was peaceful and powerful,” Hailey told HELLO! “It took me several days to process the beauty of it all. She was so calm, gentle and kind.”
She later added, “I sent her tons of screenshots while doing the editing and she was so happy and in love with the photos.”
Little Emerson rocks the show in some of the heartwarming snaps, adorably smearing her mom on her forehead and cheeks in an attempt to cheer her up through the most difficult times of her labor. “I miss so many sweet moments,” Hailey said. “Definitely when her son kept loving her and loving her.”
Meanwhile, many moms have taken to social media to praise Sarita and Hailey for offering an honest look at the birthing process. The photos show key moments throughout Sarita’s labor, from the first hours when she does breathing exercises and showers to ease the pain, to the final moments when the twins arrive and the couple’s first chance to “bond up” with their little bundles of joy.
Hailey also spoke about being present at the family’s most important moment, explaining that she was “trying to find some words” to describe how special the experience felt.
“I’m afraid I’ll have to let the photos do the talking on this one because I’m still trying to find some words that can describe the beauty I felt when Sarita brought her twins into the world.” he wrote alongside an album of photos, posted on his official Facebook page, WildEye Photography.
“She was peace. Her husband was kind. Her son Emerson loves her. I felt the Holy Spirit there. Sarita was strong”.
“She was surrounded by her birth team who were thinking of every possible detail and was so unbelievably prepared and thorough. And then vino Aмos! On January 6, and after a long and difficult hour, Noah arrived, on January 7! I am so incredibly honored to have been able to capture the story and have experienced it all with them. Thank you Sarita.”
