Florida police dog wears handler’s uniform on picture day
The good boy is frequently seen on the Orange County Sheriff’s Office’s social media feeds.
On Thursday, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida shared a brand-new official badge photo of their furry K-9 member Chico with their social media followers.
The steadfast pup, dressed in a decorated law enforcement uniform, looks directly at the camera as he poses in front of an American flag for the photograph.
“Today, K-9 Chico posed for his new ID badge. He even put on a tie for the photograph “On Instagram, the department wrote alongside the photo.
Chico is no stranger to social media celebrity in his hometown. On August 26, the sheriff’s office celebrated National Dog Day with a silly photo of the dog dressed in blue-lensed sunglasses, ready for a day on the job. “Happy National Dog Day from K-9 Chico and all of us here at the OCSO!” the caption read.

Chico’s fans are probably holding their breath, hoping for another holiday photoshoot this winter. In December 2019, the pup posed with a Santa hat on his head next to a Christmas tree and other decorations, looking festive.
