The Toucan Barbet is of medium size, measuring between 19 to 21 cm (7.5–8.3 inches) in length and weighing approximately 80–115 grams (2.8–4.1 ounces). It boasts a robust beak with a distinctive combination of a yellow maxilla and a light green mandible, both adorned with dark tips.
